LFIC
Governance Structure
Gouvernance
LFIC is managed by the Parent Association of the French International School of Guangzhou, of which all parents are automatically members. Governed by the French 1901 Association Law as a non-profit organization, the Association operates under bylaws accessible to members upon request to the administrative team. Per the bylaws, the key governing bodies of LFIC are the Management Committee, School Council, and Head of School. Each October, the Association holds a General Assembly to elect members of the Management Committee for the academic year, as well as parent representatives to serve on the School Council.

Mission

The main role of the Management Committee is to ensure that the school's policies are respected, to propose a budget, to choose investments and to recruit staff. It is also responsible for helping to bring the school to life by organising events and ensuring communication between all members of the community, parents, teachers, institutions, etc.
